When Nikhil Singhal set out to create Blanc for World of Perfumers, he was working with one of the most luxurious briefs in modern perfumery: capture the DNA of the 2016 private-collection fragrance that Natalie Gracia-Cetto built around pistachio, tuberose, ylang-ylang, coconut and amber — a ₹23,000-plus bottle for just 50ml, famous worldwide as the scent of a luxury summer escape. Nikhil Singhal is the founder and master perfumer of World of Perfumers — India's finest destination for inspired luxury fragrances. With Blanc, Nikhil faced the defining technical challenge of this composition: keeping a creamy, sweet fragrance bright and elegant. Coconut and tonka can easily turn heavy or suntan-lotion-cheap.
